Utilizing the internationally advanced physical method for molybdenum disulfide purification, we have broken the foreign monopoly on hydrocyclone separation technology for molybdenum disulfide extraction, filling a domestic technological gap in this production method.

The traditional acid leaching process contains above two acids. To achieve a lower acid value, only a strong alkali can be used for neutralization in order to obtain a lower acid value, but this process can only neutralize the residual acid on the surface of MoS2, and the strong acid in the product inside and between layers is difficult to be neutralized, therefore the acid value is generally higher after crushing, especially after the product is placed for a period of time, the difference becomes more obvious.The hydrocyclone separation process does not use HF and HCl , so only weak molybdenic acid in the crushing process is acidic, and there is almost no acid hazard to subsequent product. 

The detection of acid value uses the method of KOH titration, so only the content of H+ can be measured, and real hazard is the strong acid residuals in MoS2 - the remnants of HF and HCl, so do not let “acid value deceives you.”
